User experience (UX) is how an app works whilst user interface (UI) refers to how it looks.

The app design process

The first three phases are the stages of creating user experience. In phase 1, the user journey maps are a visualisation of the user flow through the app.

Wireframes are simplified visual concepts of the future map. The third face in UX is designing the clickable prototype. This is the interactive model of the app.

The final stage in the Design Process is creating Visual Design – so User Interfaces and Motion Design.

UI Design is about creating enjoyable experiences for your product’s users. Motion Design means, in short, creating animations & screen transitions.
